    This is a free mini-course that introduces a few virtual instruction concepts best suited for those who are brand new to the virtual learning environment. This course can be completed in 1-3 hours. *No certification is included with this mini-course.

    NVTA Certification Course

    This course will result in a Virtual Teaching Certificate, indicating that you are nationally recognized as a highly-qualified virtual instructor. This certification program will likely take between 3-5 months to complete, but must be completed within one year of the purchase date. Throughout the course, you will create an e-portfolio consisting of your course assignments, sample docs, and discussion boards. This portfolio may be used as a resource during the application/interview process when applying for virtual instruction positions.

    This course will result in a Virtual Teaching Certificate, indicating that you are nationally recognized as a highly-qualified virtual instructor. This certification program will likely take between 4-6 months to complete, but must be completed within one year of the purchase date. This course also includes additional assignments at the rigor of graduate-level work. Throughout the course, you will create an e-portfolio consisting of your course assignments, sample docs, essays, and discussion boards. This portfolio may be used as a resource during the application/interview process when applying for virtual instruction positions. After you earn your certification, yo u will be able to convert this course to 3-hours of graduate school credit at Adams State University (ASU) for an additional $165, paid directly to ASU.
